LSU Residential Life - Master Plan
POST ARCHITECTS was selected to develop a conceptual Master Site Plan for a blighted residential area north of campus. Because of the large linear site, the architects established a series of courtyards surrounded by buildings, connected by a major north-south axis. This connective pedestrian axis has as its central point a building for communal gathering. The units transition from one bedroom apartments on the north end to three bedroom units at the south end.
This new place answers the demand for a "community" concept with a connective axis, preservation of the Live Oaks, and a central point of contact within and from outside the complex.
