POST ARCHITECTS is a Baton Rouge based architecture firm with over forty years of continuous architectural practice which enhances our ability to execute specialized architectural and master planning projects.  

Our design portfolio includes projects in the following categories: library, high rise, courthouse, healthcare, office, historic renovation, religious, educational, retail, and tenant development.  Our master planning projects include church and school campuses, commercial developments, healthcare facilities, as well as projects on an urban scale such as the Louisiana State Capitol Park Master Plan.

Raymond Skipper Post, FAIA, founder of Post Architects, is a distinguished architect with an extensive record of award-winning commercial and master planning projects.  Throughout nearly 50 years of continuous experience, he has been involved in projects of almost every description including governmental, academic, institutional, medical, museum, retail, commercial, restoration, religious, sports, recreational, and entertainment. He has also been extremely active in Civic and Community endeavors, including serving as National President for the American Institute of Architects in 1996.

In 1968 Mr. Post established POST ARCHITECTS as a full service architectural practice to focus on design and master planning projects.  The number and variety of projects, a wide range of client experiences, and extensive travel have all given Mr. Post the rich educational experience to work with many different diverse groups of people, building consensus and unifying project teams toward a given goal.

Mr. Post attended Catholic High School of Baton Rouge and went on to receive a Bachelor of Architecture from Texas A&M University in 1963.  He is a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects and an NCARB-certified, Registered Architect in the state of Louisiana.
