Baton Rouge Country Club - Pool and Pavilion
A private club desired to replace their outdated pool pavilion and desperately needed to replace the leaking pool and resize it for local club competitions. The final design resolved all critical program requirements: maximize site usage; construct a competition-size pool, separate diving area, and wading pool; create shaded seating areas; and site the pavilion to take advantage of views of the golf course.
Elements of the main clubhouse are repeated in the roof line, architectural columns, stucco and brick materials. A deep 15 foot south facing porch provides a shaded seating area. The brick is repeated in banding around the pools.
